  • As someone who is a hobby fountain pen user...you do NOT fuck with someone's pen. I keep cheap BIC and Pentels in my purse to keep from having to offer either my Monteverde or hubby's LAMY Safari. They're not expensive fountain pens but they're precious to us (the first ones we bought together on an anniversary) and I'd be tempted to drive a BIC through the hand of someone trying to snatch them.

  • 2nd story: instead teach kids this Sharing is caring, but for the most part it's a choice. You don't HAVE to share something, especially if it's important to you. Also, be sure you aren't going to want something when it's offered. If you say no now, it's still no later. Accept the consequences of your decisions

I’m from the house of 3kid only1-2years apart, i’m the middle, and my parents always! bought snacks and clothes for kids equally. We get to choose what we want and we can share but can’t claim what belong to other siblings unless it’s given by them.

If my kid chooses not to get candy then they aren't going to leech on thier siblings candy. Same goes for if my kids get the same amount of candy and one finishes before the other. You don't get some of your siblings candy just because you already inhaled yours like a vacuum.

  • the candy story reminds me of something similar with me and my brother. every weekend our parents would buy us each a snacks the same with each other (like a cheetos bag each and such) but my brother would always steal my snacks or hide it so he can eat it later. my parents would tell me to let it slide because it was "just snacks" and that he was younger. me, being a child who was hungry, saw that as bullshit. so i would gradually start putting white vinegar on his water bottles, putting sugar and weird stuff on every food i cook for him (he relies on me to cook his food) and hide his damn oreos, he hasn't stopped stealing my snacks even now, so i'm quite literally at loss.

  • when it comes to the sibling part of this I can kinda relate. about every other weekend my mom would bring back two cookies for me and my twin and lay them out on the table for when we woke up. The problem is that im a night owl, and during the week days I would stay up till twelve and get up at 5-6, and I could live with that. But in consequence I would sleep in like I where in a comma soon the weekends and nothing would get me up. So my brother decided he would take my cookie every single time, and even after getting him to admit to it to my parents they did nothing, and now comes the revenge. I had figured out from my dad that he got up at around 9:00am, took the cookies and some pop, and headed up to his room. So one weekend when we got a Monday off at school I got up way to ducking early at 8:30 and put peanut butter into his cookie. now there's three things that need to be explained. One is that my twin hated chocolate and peanut butter together, And two is that I loved peanut butter and would usually eat it by itself. In tern the third thing is that we had these little packets of basically condensed peanut butter. Now you can probably see where im going with this, so long story short I had a stake out in my room until I heard him run out and sequentially barf. After that he complained to our parents all day about it which did him more bad than good cause they finally listened to me and punished him when he decided to still take my GOD DAMN COOKIE.

Instead of trying to fuck em over like OP did, they should have just gotten their attention and told them. Stink eyeing and shit isn't an appropriate way to tell someone anything either. Instead, the one who wrote the post lied to a TSA agent and escalated a situation, wasting TSA's time, and the guy's time. Learn to just speak up people, dont be dumbasses and lie to authorities, dragging them into situations.

That and the fact of human decency prevailing, and I love how the crappy values of the beggar were called out, and then punished for daring to bring that attitude and entitlement into a government office. I'd say the boss gets awesome points for standing up against intolerance, harassment and elitist attitudes. Wish I saw more of that happen over the last 4 years, rather than the worst d(tr)umpers-fire I've ever witnessed over 4 Years. I think these last 4 gave me PTSD, and a complete loss in humanity to be decent and I feel my life has been violated from it...

My older sister always picked chocolate, and had a habit of wanting to taste someone else’s shake. Mom would tell us to let her have a “little” taste. But my sister took a really long taste. The next time we went to McDonalds, I took off the lid of my shake as soon as I got it and in front of my sister I spit into it and mixed it up. She never asked for a taste again. And our littlest sister started doing the same thing. My older brother like chocolate, so older sister never bothered him for a taste.
